Scuba diving apparel is a great idea for the diver in your life, and there are plenty of places to shop for it.
First, if you know enough about specialized scuba diving apparel, like wetsuits, you can always look for something newer, fashionable, or more comfortable for your friend to wear underwater. Staff at the dive store can help you pick out things that all divers need; you just come knowing colors and sizes.
At the shop, they will almost certainly have other scuba diving apparel – but not the kind anyone wears underwater. There are certainly more diving-related t-shirts, jackets, and hats than there are actual divers in the world.
